Abstract
Kromosomer is a storytelling performance using virtual and digital events. The project will during the adaptation and implementation work and interact with digital, virtual and social media.

At the core of the project are norwegian legends. In the legends we find characters representing ”the others”. ”The others” are something we define ourselves away from. Despite that several of them have great similarities with ourselves, we can not accept the “others” as a part of us. Nevertheless, a relationship to what is not ourselves, and yet similar to us is completely inevitable: without “the other” no “I” with the strange, not the familiar.

The aims of the project is to:
1. To examine the term “curator”.
2. To examine the concept of “Produsage”.
3. Creating connections between “here and now” moment and virtual, and digital / social media.
4. To see if the experiences can develop a new tool for teaching.

The method is to create and produce in different medias and reflect on the findings done during the process. The process includes: structure legends and personal stories into a performance, creating avatars and installations in the virtual world, create digital stories, inspire the concept of ”produsage”, working both creative and performative on every level and test models for how traditional storytelling works and how society allow new stories to occur.

Additonal there will be a focus on methology and dissemination.

I am happy to inform that the digital artists Capcat Ragu and Meilo Minotaur now are a part of the project.
